Welcome to one of my little corners of the internet. My name is Melissa LuVisi. Like many women, I wear several different hats. I’ve been writing on the Internet since 2010. I was the co-founder of a arts and culture newsletter in Pittsburgh PA of which I sold my interest. I then launched my own blog Lu Curates and a boutique marketing firm in 2014. I joined my now-day job in 2016 when my current CEO gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse.
I am the Chief Strategy Officer for a healthcare SaaS product in dental. To learn more about the business side of things you can find me on Linkedin. I recently was highlighted in Crunchbase’s 2023 list of Influential Women in Sales and am the recipient of the 2022 Sacramento Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business award. I am a part of Newsweek’s Expert Forum and I sit on the board of De Colores Art, a nonprofit serving neurodiverse artists and students.
What is Meanderings?
In a world where the nuance is lost in every meme or quick share, Meanderings focuses on contemporary thought leadership, art, sustainability, healing, technology, and business. Meanderings is a sprinkling of letters, essays, and resources. The schedule is TBD.
Meandering is a running art project designed to bring me back to my center. It helps me process the world around me and I hope it helps you as well. You will occasionally see affiliate links and sponsorships. This is a model I’d like to move away from over time which is why your paid memberships are greatly appreciated.
I imagine there will be a lot of changes over the next few months and I deeply appreciate your support.
With Gratitude,
Lu
